So Here We Are

Summer blues, jobless, let downs, late nights, early mornings, terrible nightmares, and one big ball of confusion. That about sums up my last two months. The more and more I find ways to create a blog, the less I give a fuck. I emphasize swearing because I have nothing to hide and without saying the f word I wouldn't be explaining how I really feel. My hopes of Osheaga in Montreal have a taken a leap of death (clearly I'm not going anymore) which means no Arcade Fire.. I don't even know why I write sometimes. I mean I do, but fuck it. I have spent nearly ten years working all these lame jobs that go nowhere. It all ends the same. I get so sick of finding something new in my life that inspires me to move on to a new trend. There! I said it! A new trend! When does a person at some point in their life dig their shoes into the ground and stay? Do they? Do we? Does somebody else do it for us? For it has seemed like I have tried on so many different pairs of shoes. I have tried so very hard to dig them into the ground and stay with me.. But I can never seem to do so. If I didn't have passion, I don't know what I'd have.

Brand New

Jesus Christ, that's a pretty face
The kind you'd find on someone that could save
If they don't put me away
It’ll be a miracle

Do you believe you're missing out?
That everything good is happening somewhere else
But with nobody in your bed
The night is hard to get through

And I will die all alone
And when I arrive I won’t know anyone

Well, Jesus Christ, I’m alone again
So what did you do those three days you were dead?
Because this problem's gonna last
More than the weekend

Well, Jesus Christ I’m not scared to die
I’m a little bit scared of what comes after
Do I get the gold chariot
Do I float through the ceiling

Do I divide and fall apart
Cause my bright is too slight to hold back all my dark
This ship went down in sight of land
And at the gates does Thomas ask to see my hands?

I know you'll come in the night like a thief
But I’ve had some time alone to hone my lying technique
I know you think that I’m someone you can trust
But I’m scared I’ll get scared and I swear I’ll try to nail you back up
(everyone now)
So do you think that we could work out a psalm
So I’ll know it's you and that it's over so I won't even try
I know you'll come for the people like me
But we all got wood and nails,
And talk dirt at hating factories
But, we all got wood and nails
And talk dirt at hating factories
Yeah, we all got wood and nails
And we sleep inside of this machine

The Arcade Is On Fire!

I stand free as I sit here saluting the world with a room temperature glass of the lowest end red wine they sell in the streets of Winnipeg.. The long awaited Arcade Fire album "The Suburbs" is set to release on Aug.3, twenty ten! Very cool news for any Arcade fans out there as well. There was a single set for release today! Its called "Month of May". I found a version on "you know what" which will probably be taken off the net shortly. I hope some of who ever can at least peep this..? Comment on opinions ladies & gentlemen. Dont forget to enjoy it. Stay flavourful!
P.s As I finished writing this I found the other single called "The Suburbs". Sooo good!

Mistaken For Strangers, Red Bicyclette Merlot

Posts are so intense when I'm bored for some reason. I'm doing nothing, but doing nothing is exactly what I want right now. I hope to see The National this year at Osheaga 2010 in Monetreal... I'd also like to make a shout out to Red Bicyclette Merlot wine.
