I have nothing bad to say about Vampire Weekends second released studio album named Contra. There is such a great summer vibe to this group. This ten track album has a pretty mellow but raw and sheisty break out to it. There is a part during the song called Run near the end that gives me a creepy vibe. Its not so surprising as it is interesting to know that lead singer Ezra Koenig uses a auto-tune device during a track called California English.
When your contemplating buying this album on the shelf at your favorite music store not only should you consider checking out the babe on the cover, but also
stand correct that this will not be a waste of your hard earned coin. Tracks to listen to in my mind are (its a single and a great one, "Cousins"), Giving Up The Gun, Horchata, and Diplomat's Son.

I realized that I dont like chocolate milk and eggnog is gross, cmon! The holidaze came quicker then I thought as well. . Also, Dear Milo, Alex, Norm, Mcgee, and the rest of the ATS people.. I have no excuses for not staying in touch with yalllll and I apologize. Hopefully we can catch up with a few carlings and some kill kill. I have two gifts to yank still but if I hear Empire State Of Mind in a mall one more time I might throw myself from a set of 17 stairs. Russell's in town so thats hype as well, ho ho ho. Theres tons of stuff I'm forgetting but oh well my memory was shot 7 years ago. Mas Headspace review #2 is coming soon as well (another great show). Before you acknowlede what I'm about to say remember where you heard it first. The following is true. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have a 14 track record being released called Pinpoints and Gin Joints. The album is set for release December.8 before the new year. I read something about one of the Bosstones members quoting it being "some of the finest music ever recorded". Im gonna go ahead and use a friends quote who goes by the name of a place they call sin city, "Thats strong". Get it in ya folks.

City Of Champions 4/07/06

Almost three years ago I lived in another province. For the year I was there I had seriously four or five friends. One of these friends had a history of constantly bashing Death Cab For Cutie. In this case its just funny because that same guy has just emailed me saying Death Cab For Cuties "meet me on the equinox" is the best thing in life right now. It goes to show optimism still does exist. I will never be satisfied with one particular genre. Dont forget to enjoy yourselves.
