Shmalentines Day

I lost my phone and wallet on Friday. It feels so awesome, haha. I missed the calabi-yau show as well on Friday night. From what I heard there were two sets and it was a great time. http://www.myspace.com/calabiyauwinnipeg
Super nice day today for all you Winnipeggers. Especially all you love birds.. It is Valentines Day after all? I choose to eat ravioli, spicy noodles, and sweet tai dorritos all day. I also choose this song. If you have the time then listen to the entire song because the last minute or so is amazing. The name of the song can make more sense of this home made video (if you can translate it). Enjoy heart day.

who knows, who cares

Im at a point in my life right now when I find myself analyzing a lot of situations with people. This doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. With that comes a large amount of slacking off. (LTE Blog arriving shortly)
Have you ever had a day where you wake up and want to just leave the country with out telling anybody? I had one recently. My day began and I was walking down Portage Ave. I noticed this guy across the street in a wheel chair trying to trudge through the snow. He couldn't, so I ran to him. When I walked behind to help give a push he looked at me like he had just found out he won the lottery or something. It was a second after that when I said to myself in my head "and I think I have problems?". It's super weird how one moment can arrange an assortment of thoughts that make your decisions in life so much different than what you're used to. Its such an amazing feeling to remind yourself you're alive and actually living.. Especially when you think your not. Enjoy yourselves.

Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

Each person designs their own life, freedom gives them the power to carry out their own designs, and power gives the freedom to interfere with the designs of others.

V A M P I R E W E E K E N D -- CONTRA

I have nothing bad to say about Vampire Weekends second released studio album named Contra. There is such a great summer vibe to this group. This ten track album has a pretty mellow but raw and sheisty break out to it. There is a part during the song called Run near the end that gives me a creepy vibe. Its not so surprising as it is interesting to know that lead singer Ezra Koenig uses a auto-tune device during a track called California English.
When your contemplating buying this album on the shelf at your favorite music store not only should you consider checking out the babe on the cover, but also
stand correct that this will not be a waste of your hard earned coin. Tracks to listen to in my mind are (its a single and a great one, "Cousins"), Giving Up The Gun, Horchata, and Diplomat's Son.

Yee-Haws & White Straws

I remember sitting in my bedroom the night before grade 9 being scared as F*** to get worked as a "rookie" in the start of high school. Now. . . its 10 years later and I still own the same pair of underwear I bought THAT DAY! Be classy Manitoba. Happy New Years. Enjoy yourselves.

I have no excuses for not staying in touch with yalllll and I apologize. Hopefully we can catch up with a few carlings and some kill kill. I have two gifts to yank still but if I hear Empire State Of Mind in a mall one more time I might throw myself from a set of 17 stairs. Russell's in town so thats hype as well, ho ho ho. Theres tons of stuff I'm forgetting but oh well my memory was shot 7 years ago. Mas Headspace review #2 is coming soon as well (another great show). Have fun, brush your teeth, and dont forget to enjoy yourselves.

Dirty Denim & No Detergent

I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything.

Shout out to Mcgee for introducing me to this artist. Enjoy yourselves.
